Awareness seminar in Al-Anbar

Within the framework of the project (Increasing Civil Society Participation in Climate Action), implemented by the Ozone Network and supported by Norwegian People’s Aid organization (NPA) An awareness seminar was conducted in Al-Anbar Governorate on June 18, 2026. The seminar was attended by 18 individuals from the local community.
The seminar was implemented by Shams A-insaniya Organization for Women and Child , a member of the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar focused on climate change, including mitigation strategies and adaptation methods. It is worth noting that this seminar is part of a broader series of seminars being conducted by the Ozone Network across all Iraqi governorates to highlight the phenomenon of climate change and foster community awareness around it.
