Awareness seminar in Al-Basrah
Within the framework of the project (Increasing Civil Society Participation in Climate Action), implemented by the Ozone Network and supported by Norwegian People’s Aid organization (NPA) An awareness seminar was conducted in Al-Basrah Governorate on July 21, 2026. The seminar was attended by 41 individuals from the local community.
The seminar was implemented by Larsa Organization a member of the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar focused on climate change, including mitigation strategies and adaptation methods. It is worth noting that this seminar is part of a broader series of seminars being conducted by the Ozone Network across all Iraqi governorates to highlight the phenomenon of climate change and foster community awareness around it.

ضمن مشروع ( زيادة مشاركة المجتمع المدني في العمل المناخي) التي تنفذه شبكة الاوزون و بدعم من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي تم عقد ندوة توعوية في محافظة البصرة بتأريخ 21 تموز 2026 و بحضور 41 شخص من المجتمع المحلي في المحافظة , تم تنفيذ الندوة من قبل منظمة لارسا العضو في شبكة الاوزون في محافظة البصرة , الندوة كانت حول التغيير المناخي و كيفية مواجهته و التكييف معها , و الجدير بالذكر ان هذه الندوة احدى الندوات التي تنفذها شبكة الاوزون في كافة المحافظات العراقية من اجل تسليط الضوء على ظاهرة التغير المناخي و خلق الوعي حولها .
