ضمن مشروع ( زيادة مشاركة المجتمع المدني في العمل المناخي) التي تنفذه شبكة الاوزون و بدعم من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي تم عقد ندوة توعوية في محافظة الديوانية بتأريخ 14 تموز 2026 و بحضور 33 شخص من المجتمع المحلي في المحافظة , تم تنفيذ الندوة من قبل مؤسسة سما الابتكار للتنمية المستدامة العضو في شبكة الاوزون في الديوانية , الندوة كانت حول التغيير المناخي و كيفية مواجهته و التكييف معها , و الجدير بالذكر ان هذه الندوة احدى الندوات التي تنفذها شبكة الاوزون في كافة المحافظات العراقية من اجل تسليط الضوء على ظاهرة التغير المناخي و خلق الوعي حولها

Awareness seminar in Al-Diwaniya
Within the framework of the project (Increasing Civil Society Participation in Climate Action), implemented by the Ozone Network and supported by Norwegian People’s Aid organization (NPA) An awareness seminar was conducted in Al-Diwaniya Governorate on July 14, 2026. The seminar was attended by 33 individuals from the local community.
The seminar was implemented by Sama Al-Ebtikar Foundation for Sustainable Development, a member of the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar focused on climate change, including mitigation strategies and adaptation methods. It is worth noting that this seminar is part of a broader series of seminars being conducted by the Ozone Network across all Iraqi governorates to highlight the phenomenon of climate change and foster community awareness around it
