Awareness seminar in Diyala

Within the framework of the project (Increasing Civil Society Participation in Climate Action), implemented by the Ozone Network and supported by Norwegian People’s Aid organization (NPA) An awareness seminar was conducted in Diyala Governorate, Al-Muqdadiyah Youth Forum Hall on June 8, 2026. The seminar was attended by16 individuals from the local community.
The seminar was implemented by Iraq Land Foundation for Relief and Development, a member of the Ozone Network for Environmental Preservation.
The seminar focused on climate change, including mitigation strategies and adaptation methods. It is worth noting that this seminar is part of a broader series of seminars being conducted by the Ozone Network across all Iraqi governorates to highlight the phenomenon of climate change and foster community awareness around it.
